Purpose

Work in partnership to support initiatives that are practical, accessible and improve remote and regional health outcomes.

Overview

The Hanrine Foundation supports health initiatives that improve outcomes for families living in regional and remote areas, with a particular focus on the Pilbara.

Our work in this area is collaborative. We fund programs that are evidence-based, culturally secure, and shaped by local knowledge. From prevention and education through to diagnostics and complex care, we focus on solutions that are long-term, practical, and responsive to real needs.

Current health initiatives include:

  • Hanrine Smiles: A dental health program combining oral care delivery and education in remote schools with rural clinical placements for final-year dental students.
  • Rare Care Pilbara Hub: An innovative cross-sector program that supports children with rare and undiagnosed diseases and their families through tailored care coordination and health system navigation.
